Recycled polyester
Recycled polyester, also known as recycled polyester yarn, is obtained by melting waste plastic and respun it into new polyester fiber. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) can be recycled from post-industrial and post-consumer materials. By using plastic bottles and containers discarded by consumers, recycled polyester yarn is formed. PET waste is broken down into fiber components, which can then be spun into recycled yarn.

Recycled polyester yarn process

Clean
At the recycling center, PET bottles are sorted and sorted, and then sent to a specific PET recycling facility. Remove and clean the caps and labels of bottles and containers. In addition, they are steamed and washed to remove any non-PET components.

The recycled yarn is ready to be used again for weaving or weaving into fabrics. Polyester waste recycling has the same aesthetic and operational properties as conventional polyester yarn.
